We’ve made space in the schedule for AdultOpen Play (ages 14+) to return to both RCF locations for Summer and Fall! Each Open Play sessionis capped at 50 players for the 3 courts for good turnover and playing time. To secure your spot, go to the Member Services/Book a Session page on our website and register to play.
Open Play runs from June to October and here’s the schedule:
RCF East Open Play – Sundays: 8pm-10pm, starting June 1st
RCF West Open Play – Saturdays: 12pm-2pm, starting June 7th — the June 7th session is FREE
A current RCF Membership is required to sign up and play. Drop in spots are available but registering in advance guarantees your place at Open Play.
Game Format:
Number of players: 5v5 (4 field players + 1 goalkeeper per team)
Match Duration: 7-10 minutes (Winner stays for maximum of 2 games)
Ball: Size 4
General Rules:
All players must have a Valid RCF Membership
All players must wear their purchased wrist band for the entirety of the session
All players must adhere to the RCF Adult League Futsal Rules
Teams must be able to be differentiated by color
Time & Substitutions:
Rolling Substitutions: Allowed at any time from a designated subsitiation zone
No stoppage time: No stoppage time, clock keeps running
Scoring & Rotation: (Open Play Specific)
Winner Stays on Format:
Winning Team stays on court; losing team rotates out
Games may be to a set score (first to 3 goals) or timed (7-10mintues matches)
Tie: Equals Rock paper Scissors (best of 1)
Waiting teams: Usually first-come, first served or by calling “NEXT”
Fair Play & House Rules:
Respect Others: Avoid rough play; plen play relies on mutual respect
Self Oriented: Often no referee, players call fouls on themselves or agree as a group.
House Rule: Please adhere to RCF House Rules.
Anyone not wearing their wrist band on the court will be asked to step off and produce their wrist band
Wrist band must be worn at all times
Anyone found to not adhere to the rules above will be asked to leave without a refund
Anyone found to be sneaking in without a valid membership or without paying for the session will be asked to leave and will receive a $250 fine consistent with our league policies

Two Locations, One Community
RCF East: Portland
Our original location is the first home for futsal in Portland. This original location was founded in 2013 by ten families dedicated to creating a fun, inclusive place where players and fans could celebrate the game.
Opened in 2016, this spacious clubhouse boasts 3 state-of-the-art courts for youth and adult players. This is the go-to clubhouse for any soccer players and fans on the West Side of Portland and in the Tigard area.

We offer one-hour rental blocks complete with age-appropriate balls and pinnies. One court can have a maximum of 20 players, and each participant needs to fill out an online waiver before the event.
We require full payment at the time of reservation.
For cancellation requests made 7 days before the rental date, we will offer a full refund with the exception of a $25 processing fee.
We will not offer refunds for any requests submitted within 7 days of the rental date.
Full Facility or Large Event Rentals:
We require 50% of the total for the reservation deposit. The other 50% is due on the event date.
All cancellation requests made 30 days before the event date may receive a refund, with the exception of a $25 processing fee.
We will not refund the 50% deposit for any cancellations within 30 days of the event date.
Everyone who participates in your rental or event at Rose City Futsal must complete an online waiver prior to the event. If any participants have a player/membership card already, this will help speed up the check-in process, but it’s not required for all participants.
When you book an indoor soccer rental in Portland at Rose City Futsal, we will provide age-appropriate balls and pinnies for participants. All participants must wear non-marking flat-soled shoes. This includes futsal-specific shoes and most tennis shoes and sneakers.
We do not allow any outdoor soccer cleats, turf shoes, or any other shoes with studs.
