RCF Academy Teams give young players the chance to take what they've learned in our Academy classes and apply it in real, structured games. We're offering All Levels Academy Teams & Advanced Academy Teams, designed to bridge the gap between training and competition. All Levels Academy Team players will begin by filling out the Interest Form below and Advanced Players will receive a separate invitation. All players will get a dedicated RCF Coach, more playing time, game experience, and team camaraderie -- all in the supportive environment of Rose City Futsal. Whether your player is just getting started with RCF programs or ready for a more advanced challenge, Academy Teams provide the next step in their futsal journey.

How It Works
- Interest Form: Players who have participated in RCF’s All Levels classes or camps can complete the All Levels Academy Team Interest Form.
- Advanced Approved players will be emailed a separate Advanced AcademyTeam interest form as they are not eligible for the All Levels Academy Teams
- Team Formation: RCF Technical Directors review submissions and work to form balanced teams of 8-9 players based on interested players and league availability. Our goal is to form multiple balanced Academy Teams that play each other in a contained league to ensure even play and great development.
- Filling out the interest form does not guarantee a spot on a team.
- Coaching & Team Management: Each team is assigned an RCF coach for the full duration of the league and a team manager who will oversee scheduling, updates, and communications via Playmetrics
- Teams compete in RCF Youth League (5v5) games with referees, allowing players to develop confidence, teamwork, and tactical understanding in a true game setting.
- There is no added team training. RCF Academy Teams participate in league games only.
- These teams are meant to supplement RCF Academy classes and camps; players who have not attended an RCF class or camp are not eligible.
Team Options & Seasons
All Levels Academy Teams (Winter 2 & Spring Seasons)
- Beginner and Intermediate players who have experienced classes and camps, and are looking for the next challenge of playing on a futsal team.
- Ages: U7–U13 | Ages 6-12
- Format: 5v5 games, 8 total per season
- Game Days/Location: Saturdays or Sundays at either RCF East & RCF West
Advanced Academy Teams (Winter 2 Season)
- Advanced players approved for our Advanced Academy classes or camps.
- Ages: U8–U13 | Birth years 2018-2013 Boys, 2018-2013 Girls
- Format: 5v5 games, 8 total per season
- Game Days/Location: Saturdays or Sundays at either RCF East & RCF West

youth league seasons & Levels of Play
Winter 1 Season
The Winter 1 Youth League season (ages U8 to U16) is for premier-level teams. It features two levels of play: In Winter 1, D1 is for very competitive teams and D2 is for competitive teams. *RCF may form Invite-only Advanced Academy teams during this season
Winter 2 Season
The Winter 2 Youth League season (ages U8 to U16) also features two levels of play: In Winter 2, D1 is for competitive teams and D2 is for recreational teams and newer players.
Spring Season
The Spring Youth League season (ages U8 to U16) is for recreational teams and newer players. A perfect way to keep the team playing through the marginal weather months!

Getting Your Child Started at RCF
Step 1
Sign up for a Youth Academy Team
At Rose City Futsal, it's easy to join a Youth Academy Team! Once you and your child have found a team, get started by filling out the Interest Form online and we'll take it from there.
Step 2
Purchase a Membership
Every player at RCF needs a membership and player card to participate in leagues. Annual memberships cost $20 for the whole year and can be purchased online.
Step 3
Play!
Check out the game schedule to know when your kid plays. While they have fun on the court, you can watch from the mezzanine level or cheer them on from the main floor!
