Why are classes sometimes full on the first day of public registration?

  • As explained in “How Does Registration Work for Academy Classes?”, players in the current session are provided the first opportunity to re-register for classes in the next session in what we call “VIP Registration” (detailed above)
  • Players on the current session waitlist are provided the second opportunity to register. This is also when current players may switch or add classes
  • Lastly, we open registration up to the public
  • If a class is FULL during a session, there is a possibility that the class will fill during VIP and Waitlist registration. This is why classes can be full when public registration opens
    • For Ex. Winter I All Levels 13-15 Year Olds: Tuesdays 6pm-7pm @ RCF East is full at 15 players
      • During VIP registration for Winter II, 10 players re-enroll
      • During Waitlist registration, 5 players register, filling 15 out of 15 spots
      • The class is now FULL before registration has opened to the public
  • The BEST way to ensure enrollment in our classes is to register and participate in the Fall Session. Fall Session players will receive VIP registration for Winter I. If they register to Winter I, they will receive VIP registration for Winter II, and so on through Spring II. This ensures participation throughout the winter, our busiest time of the year
